AFAA PFTv4 Certification Workshop and Examination

This past weekend in Lake Hopatcong was good, REALLY good! I got a chance to see several former students of the AFAA workshop and touch base. It's always nice to know that people who've taken the course can actually utilize the material in their real world business! That's really cool, and perhaps the reason why I stay in the industry- to help empower those who want to be empowered, and show them how to do so  utilizing fitness paradigms- AWESOME!!

Well this weekend, we're headed back out near there, but this time we'll be in Newton, NJ:

BBoy Pro Am is back again and I can't wait to be there! As many of you know, I started BBoying with the Original Los Angeles Breakers circa 1983, and am still doing my thing (yes, I say that with pride!) If you want to see some of the worlds best at the craft, I suggest you show up in your shell toe Adidas and get ready to rock the floor. Why do I support such things with such fervency and zeal? Because what BBoys can do with their bodies is utterly incredible. The discipline it takes to master the craft is severely underestimated, and not clearly understood- by both observers AND practitioners. In time, the voices of Human Movement Science will emerge and give credibility to the physical science behind the art. and of course, I'm hoping to be one of those pioneering voices!
