The AFAA PFTv4 instructor schedule is posted up for Earnest Hudson through Novemeber 2011. Take a look at the dates and book well in advance to sit in one his courses. Here's a typical testimonial from one of his class participants:
Earnest, I wanted to touch base to thank you for your awesome personal training course earlier this month. I found your training style very educational and informative. I definitely was able to master the understanding of the planes we exercise in... I know that I gained a vast amount of knowledge, I just hope I applied it well enough.
Thanks again! And I hope to see you again, perhaps at another cert course! Or conference.
I'm "gambling" that the class participants are "odds on favorites" to do well and pass this exam! Make sure that YOU'RE there to "lay your cards on the table" and see what you got!
Here is a great example of how to apply the science of fitness conditioning to marketing paradigms. PLEASE understand, I am not knocking this product nor its creator, BUT, I do want to highlight that while this appears to be something new to the industry MODALITY wise, it's still the same science that has always been there. Why is that? Because the nature of Human Movement Science (HMS) is fundamentally consistant.
For those who study HMS, they will recognize the Swing Set Fitness program to be another variation on stability conditioning in an unstable environment. Generally speaking, anythinig else to say about the program would be a variation on that theme. By comparison, think TRX or similiar modalities- while each offers its own unique features due to the inherent nature of the modality, they all collectively offer stability conditioning in an unstable environment- AND THERE'S ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WRONG WITH THAT!
Once again we are back at XSport Fitness to get 'em certified. You know, we've been there so much lately, it kinda feels like home!...C'mon down and check out the new place...haha!
